Why swimming is important

Swimming is a life saving skill as it is a talent. Swimming is an athletic sport, which means you can get fitter. Not knowing the knowledge of swimming isn’t a very wise choice to pick. Swimming is big fear
which can be conquered by practicing in deep pool.

If you don’t know how to swim, and once you can’t feel the ground when you want to take a break, your percentage of live will be 100% down to 50%. Good technique can also be needed before jumping in the ocean or a pool. And last but not least, help and show someone how to swim
so fewer people will have a chance to live

  1. Hi Neo, really enjoyed reading your post on swimming safety. I learnt how to swim at a very young age as I grew up on a boat and sailed around NZ at the age of 6. It was fun and exciting but a little bit scary at times when the weather turned bad and the seas were really rough. But because I knew how to swim even at the age of 5 I always felt confident in the water. Too many kiwi kids drown every year so the more we can encourage them to learn how to swim the better. Well done :)
