Why exercise is important

It is truly unnatural when you don’t see much children running around places, or many adults taking their children out for fitness. I believe that exercise is important.  Which is why exercise should be performed daily by children.

Exercise is very important especially for children. When growing up, your first or second priority should be to be fit and healthy. Then when you go to primary school, you will enjoy many sports.

Exercise can also prevent you from ever being overweight or prevent your appearance of fatness (No offence). When being fat, your chance of a long life shortens.

You won’t be able to do much when being overweight which is why you should exercise to the limit and maybe you won’t be so unfit when you grow up. If do manage to get fit, then maybe you will get a job that involves fitness.

Jobs like house building or gym advisers require fit people. If you're still a student in college, you would certainly get a scholarship for many sports such as cross country.

The main point of this argument was to clarify why exercise is so important and to list the consequences of what would happen if you don’t exercise daily.

Why taking care of your mind and body is so important?

Why taking care of your mind and body is so important? your mind and body is one of the main things that keeps you and your life line running.
as well as other special parts of the body, the mind might be the prime part of your body.

The mind lets you do a variety of things others can’t such as read, write, think, do, run and walk. If the mind is corrupted by things like drugs, then you will not have the ability to think. The drug will take over you, yourself, and your body

The body is helpless without  the minds aid. And you will not be able to resist what ever has taken over you, and preventing a some thing like this is not easily done than said. One does not simply walk into a new world using drugs or other things

Taking care of your body and mind means e.g. eating the right things,
doing some exercise, and read as much as possible. If you like it or not, you can chose over what you want to do with your mind and body whether it means taking drugs or drinking till your death.

This is why it is so important to take care of your body. You will go far in life as long as you have a mind, just think of the things you’d do without it. Without your mind, you would simply have no existence in this world.

Life education 2014 - drugs and alcohol

Through out these few years we have past paths with Lyn and Harold.
Linn and Harald have traveled to many schools and have now come back to Pt england school.

This term the The year 7 and 8 students of Pt England have been learning about a series of drugs and alcohol lessons. The knowledge we have experienced will help us resist drugs and alcohol.

The thing that drugs does to your body affects the way you think and how you do things, whether its marijuana, methamphetamine, party pills or even glue. When a drug like weed is taken, neurotransmitters will slow down

Neurotransmitters are things that pass messages throughout the brain and through your body. If a drug like meth is taken then your neurotransmitters will speed up and be uncontrollable.

Its the same with alcohol, but alcohol is legal. But alcohol is still dangerous. The thing that alcohol can do to your body can cause
many bad especially to the brain.

'Lest we forget'

Today is the day we remember the people who fought for us and our homes. World war 1 was where it all began, where all the destruction happened. The British Empire, the Russian Empire, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, and all the other countries were involved.

World War l has affected the world a lot. Most battlefields were destroyed due to world war l like in Gallipoli. There were no trees, no grass, only mere mud puddles. Everything was just obliterated.

The people who went to war came back with minor and major injuries. Many didn’t even return alive. Many came back in coffins. Today is a special day, as all schools and other locations have raised the New Zealand flag at the request of the government.

All of Pt England have gathered into the hall to wait for the New Zealand flag to rise. During the wait, Mr Burt showed photographs of the men in world war l. He also showed his grandfather and Mrs Flavelle’s grandfather’s photos.

I feel really grateful for all who had fought for us and protected us from trouble. They all should be well rewarded for their bravery, for they have chosen a risky journey, well ‘Lest we forget’.
